Who are Application Assistants?
Application Assistants are domestic violence professionals who are trained about the Maryland Safe at Home Address Confidentiality Program (ACP). They
are knowledgeable about the Maryland's ACP law and regulations;
can determine if the ACP should be a part of a client's overall safety plan;
can explain ACP services and a participant's responsibilities;
can assist a client in completing and filing application materials; and
are able to offer referrals to other services.
