Farewell Dinner for Mr. Kenichi Oki:
Members of the Maryland-Kanagawa Sister State Committee and the staff of the
JETRO’s Kanagawa Office in Maryland honored Mr. Kenichi Oki prior to his
return to work in Japan. Mr. Oki opened and managed Kanagawa’s only business
development office in the United States for more than three and one-half years. |

• In honor of his work for creating connections between businesses in
Maryland and Kanagawa Prefecture, Ms. Kikko Okajima Murray gave Mr. Oki a
citation from Governor Martin O’Malley and presents from the committee and
Office of International Affairs. |

• Ms. Murray and Ms. Mendy Nitsch, Director, International Affairs,
Maryland’s Office of the Secretary of State, watch as Mr. Oki admires a tie
inspired by the state’s flag. |
