• The Maryland-Asia Environmental Partnership sponsored a reception at the
Banneker-Douglass Museum in Annapolis on January 14 in honor of the visit of
a delegation of 15 from the Beijing Management Center for Hydraulic
Engineering Construction (BMCHEC). Several Maryland public and private
sector institutions were represented, including Maryland’s Office of the
Secretary of State, the Maryland Department of the Environment, the
University of Maryland Institute for Global Chinese Affairs (ICGA),
Baltimore Aircoil Company, and TowsonGlobal. The delegation visited Maryland
for a two-week water systems management training course directed by the ICGA. |
