While Maryland has hosted many exchanges with Japanese lacrosse players, this was the first visit made by Keio High School students. Twenty-seven students, three coaches, three parents, and one sister traveled here and the players scrimmaged against teams at Boys’ Latin, Gilman School, and St. Paul’s School. The group also played against sister school, St. Alban’s in Washington, DC.
