Officials from Anhui Province’s Bureau of Commerce met with Marylanders in September to discuss
business and economic development in both regions and upcoming visits by delegations in 2010.
Representing Maryland were Department of Business and Economic Development’s (DBED) Assistant
Secretary Bob Walker, Signe Pringle and Brad Gillenwater; from the Secretary of State’s Office
of International Affairs, Mendy Nitsch and Beth Volk; and Winston Chan, member of the Maryland-Anhui
